WE REQUIRE THAT PASSPORTS ACCOMPANY ALL HORSES TO OUR EVENTS/ CLINICS AND INSIST ANNUAL VACCINATIONS ARE UP TO DATE OR the 2nd VACCINATION HAS BEEN GIVEN.

AT LEAST 7 DAYS CLEAR of vaccination IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE EVENT YOU WANT TO ATTEND. Horses must remain on the lorry/ trailer until passports are checked in the secretary’s office.

IT IS THE OWNERS/ COMPETITORS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE ABOVE IS ADHERED TO – management reserve the right to decline entry to any horse/ pony should the above not be complied with.

It is at our discretion to allow late entries for that class once it has started.

External medical cover will be provided and all competitors are required to pay a first aid fee of £4 per competitor.

Class 0 – 09:00 – Arena 1 – Clear Round

Class 1 – 10:00 – Arena 1 – Senior British Novice Championship – First Round/90cm Open

Rule 316. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm.

Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

British Novice:

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 316.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2015 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final – in accordance with Rule 316.6

Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship – Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May – 30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four Senior British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings

for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.

90cm Open:

For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

If combined with an open:

In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

Prizes: 1st: £30.00, 2nd: £25.00, 3rd: £20.00, 4th: £18.00, 5th: £16.00, 6th: £16.00, Total: £125.00

Class 2 – Arena 1 – Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery First Round/1m Open

Rule 314. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.00m.

Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Discovery:

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). 1.00m Open:

For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Prizes: 1st: £40.00, 2nd: £30.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £18.00, Total: £133.00

Class 4 – not before 12:00 – Arena 1 – Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers – First Round/1.10m Open

Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by Connolly’s RED MILLS In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Newcomers:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 312.6

(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2013, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final – in accordance with Rule 312.6.

Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st June – 31st May inclusive.

1.10m Open:

For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

If combined with an open:

In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £30.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £18.00, 5th: £18.00, 6th: £18.00, Total: £159.00

Entry Fee = £18.00


Class 5 – Arena 1 – National 1.15m Members Cup Qualifier

Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2019.

Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships.

Qualification period: 1st June-31st May.

Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.

If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £30.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £18.00, 5th: £18.00, 6th: £18.00, Total: £159.00

Class 6 – Arena 1 – Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter First Round/1.20m Open

Rule 310. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.20m.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by Equitop Myoplast In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Foxhunter section:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 310.6

(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2012, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final – in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.

Four Double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive.

Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2019 are not eligible for qualification to the 2020 Championship.

Open section:

For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

If combined with an open:

In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £75.00, 2nd: £50.00, 3rd: £40.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, 6th: £20.00, Total: £225.00

Entry Fee = £20.00


Class 7 – Arena 1 – National 1.30m Open

Rule 306. Single Phase. Speed 375mpm. Start Height 1.30m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate and Junior Members.

Qualifies for: The British Showjumping National Championships.

Qualifying period: 1st July-30th June.

Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify. Double clear qualifications will not be obtained from one round competitions (e.g. Table A4 or Table A (1 Round))

Prizes: 1st: £100.00, 2nd: £75.00, 3rd: £50.00, 4th: £30.00, 5th: £25.00, 6th: £25.00, Total: £305.00
