FRIDAY NIGHTS POINTS LEAGUE DATES
28th April, 12th, 26th May, 9th , 23rd June, 14th July, 11th August and 25th August FINALE
BIG thank you to Iron Horse Equestrian for their continued support, most generously giving £300 worth of vouchers! £150 voucher to overall points champion, £100 voucher for reserve and £50 voucher for 3rd in the points league! Additionally 4th, 5th and 6th placings in the overall league will each receive a £50 Sykehouse Arena Voucher ( which can be used online for entries)
PRE ENTRY ONLY
Entries Close Wed night prior to the event at 10pm, draws available Thursday afternoon
ALL CLASSES (except Class 5 95/1m) WILL BE JUDGED AS SPLIT: PONIES (14.2HH AND UNDER) OR HORSES (RIDERS 12YRS AND OVER)
Classes run single phase i.e. faults taken over the full course but only the second half is timed with Separate awards for horses and ponies (excluding Class 5)
AWARDS:ROSETTES 1ST TO 6th
PRIZE MONEY: £15 £10 £5 According to competitor numbers (1 monetary prize for every 5 competitors in the separate horse/pony sections, up to 3rd)
LEAGUE POINTS AWARDED FOR ALL PLACINGS : allocated to 1st to 6th place
Points are allocated, on a sliding scale, to horse/rider combinations according to the placings given by the judges i.e
1st place 10 points
2nd 9 points
3rd 8 points etc
BONUS POINTS: 2 bonus points will be added to all double clears whether placed or not. 5 double clears = 10 extra bonus points.
HOWEVER POINTS AND PLACINGS WILL BE FORFEITED IF YOU ARE ELIMINATED AT ANY STAGE
Points league champions will be determined by horse/pony and rider combination with the highest number of points gained throughout the season. If there is a tie the combination with the most wins will be the champion. Competitors MUST compete at the Championship show on 25th August to be eligible to receive prizes, otherwise they will be forfeited.

CLEAR ROUND (55/60cm) around the full course, Rosettes awarded to all clear rounds, max 2 mins in the ring £10.00
APPROX 6pm start
CLASS 1 60cm £16.00 fillers at side
CLASS 2 70cm £16.00 fillers at side
CLASS 3 80cm £16.00 fillers in
CLASS 4 85/90cm £16.00 fillers in
CLASS 5 95/1m £16.00 fillers in (judged as a combined class)
HORSES OR PONIES CAN COMPETE IN A MAXIMUM OF 3 CLASSES, EG. 1x CLEAR ROUND, 1x 60cm AND 1 x 70cm
Run under BRITISH SHOWJUMPINGS rules.
COMPETITION WEAR or SMART CASUAL – correct standard riding hat and riding/ jodhpur boots essential
THERE WILL BE NO PRIZE GIVING but rosettes can be collected on the day from our Car Park Steward, prize money will be paid electronically within 48 hrs of show finishing.
WITHDRAWL OF ENTRIES IS REQUIRED IN WRITING BEFORE CLOSE OF ENTRIES FOR ANY REFUND (LESS £5 PER ENTRY ADMIN FEE), AFTER CLOSE OF ENTRIES NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AND WE DO NOT CARRY FORWARD TO ANOTHER SHOW
