Road Closure- there is a small diversion off the A614 Thorne Road in Sykehouse Village. As you approach the canal swing bridge there is a left hand turn down past the fisheries (Mawson Green Lane), follow this road until there is a right hand turn over another canal bridge. Follow this road until you come to a crossroads with a postbox on your left, turn left and continue along the normal road.

Please Note it does not effect travel from Moss/ Askern direction, come as normal but there will be road closure signs

18TH SEPTEMBER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW AND PRESENTATIONS

POINTS FOR ALL PLACINGS TOWARDS END OF SEASON CHAMPIONS AND RESERVES AT ALL HEIGHTS!!

CLASSES SPLIT: PONIES (14.2HH AND UNDER) OR HORSES (RIDERS 12YRS AND OVER)

All classes run single phase, Separate awards subject to entries (must be 5 or more PONIES and 5 or more HORSES to split).

PRIZE MONEY: £15 £10 £5 According to entries (1 in every complete 5 up to 3rd)

POINTS: allocated 1st to 6th place

1st = 6 points 2nd = 5 points 3rd = 4 points 4th = 3 points 5th = 2 points 6th = 1 point

BONUS POINTS: 2 bonus points will be added to all double clears whether placed or not. 5 double clears = 10 extra bonus points.

HOWEVER POINTS AND PLACINGS WILL BE FORFEITED IF YOU ARE ELIMINATED AT ANY STAGE

Points league champions and reserve will be determined by horse/pony and rider combination with the highest number of points gained throughout the season at each height.  If there is a tie the combination with the most wins will be the champion. Competitors MUST attend the Championship show in order to receive prizes, otherwise they will be forfeited.

ALL RIDERS TO PAY A CONTRIBUTION OF £2 FOR THE DAY TOWARDS FIRST AID COVER

If competing in the 65cm competition then the same combination of horse / pony and rider are not be eligible to compete competitively on the same day in competitions of 85cms or above

HORSES OR PONIES CAN COMPTETE IN A MAXIMUM OF 3 CLASSES, EG. 1 CLEAR ROUND, 1 65cm AND 1 75cm

Run under BRITISH SHOWJUMPINGS rules

COMPETITION WEAR (NO DUBARRY OR COUNTRY STYLE BOOTS) A CURRENT REGULATION RIDING HAT. 

 THERE WILL BE NO PRIZE GIVING, rosettes can be forwarded at a cost of £2 (max of 2), prize money will be paid electronically within 48 hrs of show finishing.
ANY WITHDRAWL OF ENTRIES TO BE IN WRITING, WITH 48HRS NOTICE REQUIRED FOR ANY REFUND (LESS £5 PER ENTRY ADMIN FEE), ENTRIES WILL NOT BE CARRIED FORWARD TO ANOTHER SHOW

PLEASE STILL REMMEMBER TO BRING HORSE PASSPORTS FOR SPOT CHECKING OF VACCINATIONS

Entries will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment, Strict Covid Protocol to be followed with Social distancing throughout our site- anyone not adhering to these will be asked to leave immediately and future entries denied.

#NO SPECTATORS ON SITE. MINIMAL PEOPLE (1 HORSE=1 RIDER AND 2 HELPERS ONLY). ONLY HORSES ENTERED WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE- DO NOT BRING ANY EXTRA HORSES


#ACCESS ONLY BY THE LORRY GATE  WHERE ENTRIES WILL BE CHECKED/ VERIFIED, NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY, NO EXCESS PEOPLE, THE CAR GATE WILL BE LOCKED


#CAFE WILL OPERATE WITH A ONE WAY SYSTEM AND AS  TAKE AWAY ONLY- ONLY 1 PERSON PER ORDER, QUEUING 2M APART

#PARKING 5M APART IN ALLOCATED BAYS, TACKING UP WITHIN YOUR BAY- NO HORSES TO BE LEFT TIED TO VEHICLES
